Our counselors are here to give a hand as you begin a journey toward healing and restoration in any and every area of your life. We offer individual, marriage, pre-marital, crisis intervention, family, and adolescent treatment. Lakewood Counseling Center also performs adoption home studies for the Bell County Courts.

Lakewood Counseling offers consulting and team building workshops to help take your team to the next level. We have years of research and practice regarding transformational leadership, effective teams, conflict resolution, and strategies for change to create a program where people, performance and potential are all interwoven for unlimited success at both an organizational and personal level.



Toni Davis


Registered Play Therapist

Toni is currently seeing clients at our Temple office

Toni Davis is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist who has worked with children and families since 2013. Toni earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise. Toni is a member of the Association for Play Therapy and the Central Texas Chapter of the Texas Association for Play Therapy. More


Kerri Pearson


Founding Partner

Kerri is also an accomplished presenter, speaking for local churches, schools, local organizations, businesses and trainings for other professionals. Her presentations include humor, education, experiential exercises as well as sharing about her own “growth opportunities”. She also holds the license of supervisor and enjoys working with new clinicians as they pursue their professional development. More


Brandon Rodriguez


Brandon Rodriguez is a Licensed Professional Counselor from Waxahachie, Texas. Brandon earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and his Master’s degree in Psychology and Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. Brandon specializes in treating adolescent and adult individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, family issues, substance abuse, trauma, and major life changes. More


Leslie Brown


Leslie Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor from Belton, Texas. Leslie earned a Master of Arts Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Marriage and Family Counseling. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor with a double major in Religion and Psychology. More


Sharon Aguilera


I counsel women and adolescent girls with issues to include, depression, post-partum depression, anxiety, relationship issues, coping skills, self-esteem, communication issues, grief, parenting, self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation and situational stress. It can be incredibly difficult to seek help. I understand and want to provide a safe place for women and young girls to feel comfortable sharing their struggles. More


Josh Kellar, LMFT, LPC Intern


Josh is currently seeing clients at our Temple office

Josh’s approach to counseling is centered around helping his clients identify what the truth about who they are and how their current thoughts, feelings and behaviors keep them stuck living inconsistently with that truth. Josh has received level-one training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and he is a facilitator of the Parenting the Love and Logic Way curriculum. Josh works with couples at all stages of life, parents and families, adolescents and individuals. He has experience treating people with anxiety, depression, issues related to identity as well as those grieving a loss. More


Myriah Sirrocco

Psy.D., Clinical Child Psychologist

Myriah is currently seeing clients at our Temple office

Myriah Sirrocco is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 11 years experience working with children and their families. Dr. Sirrocco specializes in adjustment disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, sensory processing disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma and acute stress disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She uses an array of therapeutic techniques tailored to the child’s specific needs. More


Mei Hua-Burns, LPC

Mei enjoys working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of issues and challenges. She has worked extensively with military community, LGBTQIA+ population, and people with disabilities. She has provided individual and group therapy in areas of anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, substance abuse, and career management. More
